Description of the route:

Elkano district belongs to the municipality of Aia. On the first stretch of the walk the ground rises fairly steeply, but once you’re past this stretch, it doesn’t do so again. All along the route you’ll be walking amongst hamlets, smallholdings and market gardens, and will enjoy unique views of Zarautz and its surroundings. Once you reach Elkano, we suggest you follow the route back to Zarautz, but you also have the option of crossing Meagas hill and continuing towards Getaria.
