Description of the route:
The walk is of approximately 4 hours’ duration. This is classed as a medium difficulty, rather than an easy walk, because the ground rises throughout the walk, although the gradient is only slight. Throughout the walk you’ll feel the breeze coming off the sea and will have beautiful panoramic views of Zarautz and its surroundings. A verdant landscape, beech woods, pine woods, Basque ponies, deer, dolmens, hamlets… all the delightful things you would expect on a route like this which is an old favourite.
